UK Delivery
For UK delivery, I use the trusty old Royal Mail Special Delivery
service or Parcel Force depending on the size. Either way, the
portrait will be safe. I will contact you to let you know when your portrait
is ready and it should arrive the next working day. Parcels can be tracked so if the portrait is
overdue from when I confirmed despatch, please contact me. If you are local to
me e.g. The Medway towns/Canterbury/Maidstone ( I live in Stockbury, Sittingbourne, Kent) I am more
than happy to deliver in person.
Delivery to the USA
I am very pleased to say that I
do ship to the USA. Postage starts from £12 for small painting or
drawing by Royal Mail Airsure or International Signed For. This
usually takes 3-5 days from the date of posting. Please contact me
for a price for larger portraits and I will find out from the post
office for you. For more information about delivery and
ordering from the USA click on the following link:

Overseas
Delivery
For delivery outside the UK the portrait will arrive to you by 'Airsure'
or 'International signed for', which is an overseas delivery service provided by The
Royal Mail. This is also a very safe and efficient method of delivery. This usually takes between 5-10 days and
can be tracked along the way. Please contact me if your portrait is
overdue from when I confirmed its despatch.
Please
contact me for a quote on the
delivery of your portrait, as a rough guide the postage can range
from £6 to £15 depending on portrait size and destination.
Packaging
I take great care to ensure that
your portrait arrives to your home in perfect condition. Here is my
secret!
Pencil Drawings
I NEVER roll my drawings or post
them in a tube. Therefore you will find that I send all of my
drawings flat, maintaining them with a rigid piece of hardboard.
First I wrap the portrait in a couple of layers of acid-free white
tissue paper secured with a ribbon and place it between a sheet of
hardboard and a sheet of cardboard. I then wrap it in plenty of
bubble wrap and finish the parcel with brown paper and a waterproof
posting bag.
Oil paintings
Oil paintings are packaged in a
similar way to pencil drawings. I wrap them in acid-free white
tissue paper bound with a ribbon. Then it goes between two sheets of
cardboard wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap. I then add a layer of
brown parcel wrap and slip it into a waterproof posting bag.
